The Dirty Picture

The Dirty Picture
The Dirty Picture Casting : Vidya Balan, Naseeruddin Shah, Emraan Hashmi, Tusshar Kapoor,

Produced by: Ekta Kapoor & Shobha Kapoor, Directed by: Milan Luthria

Vidya Balan played the role of controversial actress of 80's SILK SMITHA who started her career as a touch-up artist for a B-grade actor, soon got a break in small character roles, and she was discovered by Indian director Vinu Chakravarthy.

Silk Simtha was well known for her overt sex appeal in the movies which made her star in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and a few Hindi films.

VIdya Balan as Silk made a Awe-inspiring performance in the movie. It was delightful to see her in such a avatar which was totally different from roles played by her in other movies. changes in her character was great.

Every dialog delivered by Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi has very well described the situation and the life which had been spend by the actress Silk Smitha.

This movie makes me think that the country where women is worshiped as a goddess on other hand in the same country  public want to see women in such manner who made a simple village girl to controversial actress of 80's.

The best dialogs at the end of the Silk life by Vidya "Maa ne darvaja kholene ke baad galese kyu nahi lagaya?" "Kamar per to har koi haat rakhana chanta hai par ser per koi haat rkherna kyu nahi chahta?"

There are many other dialogs by Vidya in movie which makes the audiences think rather than just see the sex appeal of the character.

ROCKSTAR

ROCKSTAR a film by Imtiaz Ali was well narrated story of a Artist, his passion towards Music OnScreen, simultaneously a love story of Jordan - the Rockstar.

The original one-liner with which the movie starts “a painful heartbreak gets out the real artist inside you” goes for a complete toss by the end.

Boy & girl in the film bond over soft-porn cinema "Jangli Jawani", country liquor, dancing in cheap bars, Ranbir's jokes, ride on a bike … are the only entertaining parts in the whole movie. Soon after, the girl is married off to some NRI, the boy is thrown out of his house here stars the struggle for the Rockstar in the movie.

Jordan’s passion for music made him popular ‘bad boy of music’  with his guitar in the hand asking for ‘Saddaa Haaq’, but inside somewhere there is lonely person who is trying to share his loneliness with his friends but the friends are shown quit busy taking photos with him as he is most popular Antique piece for them.

Ranbir’s cloths, style, attitude, is the biggest attraction in the movie. Music by A. R. Rahman is as usual best. Appearance by Shammi Kapoor and some precious moment from the Shammiji’s movie was very pleasureful for me.

After watching Rockstar only I can remember is Ranbir Kapoor, his transformation of Delhi youth Janardan Jhakar - to - JJ - to - world famous rock star Jordan, and songs ‘Sadda Haaq’, ‘Katiya Karu’ & ‘Jo Bhi Main’. Actress Nargis Fakhri (Heer Kaul) was unacknowledged. Co-actor Aditi Rao Hydari (Television Reporter) was good with her character in the movie.
Somewhere the movie after interval is dragged & was boring due to repeating of senses. From my point of view end was really undesirable.

One should watch movie only for Ranbir Kapoor - The Rockstar.
